the bellyfish

this one's a combo of a few themes i've been working on lately. a bit of mini sims combined with a more standard fish. it has a lot of belly in the entry going to a hard rail at the fins and with a big single concave. it's also got a deep concave deck, thanks to the canadians! i've been surfing it plenty and can't get enough. very smooth and loose, trims nicely and paddles like a dream. i also had my first ever session at rincon on this board a few days ago. good choice!

scene of the crime!

me and some friends were lucky enough to receive citations for surfing within 500ft of  this pier last night. $25.....i think it was worth it.

today is the 5th day of decent, clean surf. wind has been offshore the whole time....rare on the north carolina coast.

6'2 yo-quad for me!

this is closest thing to a "shortboard" that i've had since 1994 when i bought my last thruster. it was a good one, a 6' 8 parmenter stubb vector. still have it. it's also the 1st clear board i've had in years. it's a mdi blank though and gives a little champagne color. headed coastal in the morning and hope to try it out.
