scene of the crime!

me and some friends were lucky enough to receive citations for surfing within 500ft of  this pier last night. $25.....i think it was worth it.

today is the 5th day of decent, clean surf. wind has been offshore the whole time....rare on the north carolina coast.

this is closest thing to a "shortboard" that i've had since 1994 when i bought my last thruster. it was a good one, a 6' 8 parmenter stubb vector. still have it. it's also the 1st clear board i've had in years. it's a mdi blank though and gives a little champagne color. headed coastal in the morning and hope to try it out.
