from "dp" to "bp": for sale

while waiting for a new shipment of blanks, i decided to carve out a log i've been thinking about for awhile. i had the chance to surf an older anderson "dp" model in mexico this winter. i was impressed, lot's of drive, good noserider, super versatile and fun. i took note of it's characteristics and blended them w/ my classic log model and came up w/ the "bp" model. it's got an extended nose concave, a bit more vee, a wider, thinner diamond tail and more pinched rails. resin stripes and pins, volan knee paddle patch, clean and simple. this one's available unless a we get a clean little swell and i wax her up paddle out.

got a little outta hand w/ the color, but there's a pretty cool wave in there! this is a modified bonzer, scaled down from the whaletale i really liked in mexico this past winter. it's got a wide tail and flat deck, now i just need some surf to test it out. 6' 15 1/8 x 20 3/4 x 15 1/2 x 2 1/2

having finally graduated college, logan is signed on to captain a boat for the next 2 years through the caribbean and then  pacific. yeah, i'm jealous! he'll be seeing a wide variety of surf, so we decided on a good all rounder. i think i'll call this the "explorer". 6'2 15 3/8 x 21 x 15 1/4

coffee table re-luxe

this is a very old coffee table that i've neglected for years. decided to refinish it w/ some leftover resin and glass and here it is.

6'8 whaletail bonzer

i wanted to make a full volume, all around bonzer for mex last year, and had been surfing my "bellyfish" alot last fall. i was really liking the concave deck and tail design, so i incorporated them into the bonzer. this is the result, and i was very happy w/ how well it went.
